Web development that prioritizes speed and security
During this phase, your website will be created based on the web design agreed upon in the previous phase. I will use modern and trusted tools to ensure that your website is safe for clients and customers, user-friendly, and fast-loading. Additionally, any agreed-upon automation and search engine optimization (SEO) steps will be implemented during the web development process. Your website will also be responsive, providing an optimized user experience across various devices, including PCs, tablets, and the most common mobile phones.
If you have chosen to create an accessible website, all necessary accessibility features will be implemented and thoroughly tested during this phase as well.

What is typically included in a web development package?
Unless otherwise specified in our mutual contract, my web development package usually includes the following items:
Responsive Design
All websites are optimized for PCs, tablets, and the most widely used mobile phones.
Basic SEO
Website Builder
WordPress comes with a built-in page builder called Gutenberg, but many web designers and developers opt for third-party builders due to their additional features and flexibility. Your subscription to a page builder is included for one year. If you select a website maintenance plan, your page builder subscription will remain free for the duration of that plan. Otherwise, you will be charged annually for the site builder or will need to purchase a lifetime license.
Plugins
Websites often require plugins to provide various functionalities, such as SEO tools and cookie policy compliance. Typically, plugin subscriptions are included for one year. If you subscribe to a website maintenance plan, you will receive your plugin subscription free for the entire duration of that plan; otherwise, you will be charged annually for the plugins.
What is typically not included in a web design package?
Unless otherwise specified in our mutual contract, my web development package generally does not include the following items:
Images
High-quality images are essential for ensuring the quality of your website. If you do not have any available, I can recommend websites where you can purchase licensed images of excellent quality to avoid copyright infringement. Alternatively, I can provide you with a quote for including images in your website package.
Content
You are responsible for providing the content you wish to feature on your website. If you need assistance, I can send you a quote for copywriting services to be included in your website package.
Translation
You are responsible for providing translations for the text featured on your website. If you would like assistance with this, I can provide a quote for translation services to be included in your website package.
Legal Policies
After consulting with your company’s legal department or privacy attorney, you are responsible for providing the necessary legal documents for your website. This includes the privacy policy, cookie policy, terms of use, and any disclaimers. If you’d like, I can provide you with a quote for creating these legal policies to include in your website package.
Search Engine Optimization
In addition to the basic SEO mentioned earlier, meta titles, meta descriptions, keywords, and other related elements are essential. If you’re unable to provide these, consider investing in an SEO package to enhance your website’s visibility and help potential clients or customers find you more easily.
Domain Name
You are responsible for providing your website’s domain name. If you are unsure how to do this, I can point you in the right direction. Alternatively, we can include domain name registration in your website maintenance plan.
Web Hosting
You are responsible for securing web hosting for your website. If you need assistance, I can guide you in the right direction. Alternatively, we can include web hosting services in your website maintenance plan.
You are responsible for setting up an email service associated with your domain name. If you are unsure how to do this, I can help guide you. Alternatively, we can include email services in your website maintenance plan.
My standard web development process
My typical website development process is outlined below. However, this process may vary based on your project’s requirements. If adjustments are needed, they will be detailed in the Proposal of Services.
PHASE ONE: Content
- I will provide a content guide at the start of your project to help you gather the content needed to create your new website.
- If you choose my professional content creation service, my content writer will contact you and handle the content collection and creation.
- I will also provide you with a Design Brief to help me understand the colors and designs you prefer for your new website. This brief will be utilized in Phase Two.
- If logo design is part of the project, I will not begin creating the design concept until your new logo is completed, as I want the new design to coordinate with it.
- Phase One concludes when I receive the fully assembled website content, including the completed Content Guide, Design Brief, and all assets (logos, photos, videos, etc.) that will be utilized on the site website.
PHASE TWO: Concept
- Based on the information you provide in the Design Brief and any additional materials you submit, I will create a design concept that effectively engages your target audience.
- I will work with you to refine the design concept until you are completely satisfied.
- Phase Two ends when you approve the design concept for your website using the Design Approval Form.
PHASE THREE: Development
- The design concept layout approved in Phase Two is transformed into a personalized WordPress website, where pages are developed and functionality is integrated.
- Phase Three concludes when I finish the website and present it to you for revisions.
PHASE FOUR: Revisions
- You assess the website for design and content, then compile a list of necessary revisions.
- Revisions involve minor updates (as determined at my discretion) and alterations to existing content.
- A Change Budget is used for change requests such as but not limited to:
– New functionality you want to add to the project;
– Revisions to previously approved items, including design concepts approved in Phase Two;
– Other revisions requested in this phase that would exceed 4 hours in total to accomplish. - Phase Four concludes when you complete the Launch Approval Form and the final payment is received.
PHASE FIVE: Launch
I will publish your website, making sure it is accessible through your domain name.
Important Note: Due to the nature of the Internet, it may take up to 24 hours or more for a newly published website to be visible to everyone.
