A newsletter your subscribers actually read.
A newsletter done well is one of the most reliable marketing tools available. Owned, direct, and completely independent of algorithm changes on any social platform. Your subscribers signed up because they want to hear from you. The job is making sure what you send is worth their time.
We manage newsletters for clients who want to communicate consistently with their audience without it consuming their calendar. Strategy, writing, platform setup, design, and send. You review and approve before anything goes out.
Newsletters
Everything from strategy to send.
We handle every part of the newsletter process. Here is what that includes.
Strategy
Audience segmentation, send frequency, content pillars, and what each newsletter should achieve for your business. A newsletter strategy is not complicated, but it needs to exist before the first send goes out.
Copywriting
Every newsletter is written in your voice. We write content that reflects what your organization actually knows and cares about, not filler produced to meet a posting schedule. Formats we commonly use include insights and perspectives relevant to your sector, curated content with your commentary, updates on your work and thinking, and event or announcement sends.
Platform management
We work with MailerLite, ConvertKit, MailChimp, and similar platforms. If you do not have a platform set up, we handle that as a one-off engagement before the retainer begins. If you have one already, we take it over.
Design and send
A clean, on-brand template built once and maintained. Scheduling, testing, and send management. Unsubscribe handling and list hygiene.
Reporting
Monthly report covering open rates, click rates, list growth, and what content performed best. We use this to improve each subsequent send.
Languages
Newsletters in English, Greek, and German. Additional languages are available on request.
Investment
Plans are priced according to the scope of your project. Full details are included in the Proposal of Service after the initial strategy call.
Email marketing
Beyond the newsletter.
A newsletter is a regular, relationship-building send. Email marketing covers everything else: welcome sequences for new subscribers, promotional campaigns for product launches or events, re-engagement sequences for inactive contacts, and automated flows triggered by subscriber behavior.
We plan, write, and set up email marketing campaigns and automations for clients who want their email channel to do more than a monthly send. Every campaign is written in your voice, designed to match your brand, and usually built on the same platform we manage your newsletter on.
Common questions
Answers to the questions we hear most often.
Which email platforms do you work with?
We work with MailerLite, Brevo, Mailchimp, ConvertKit (Kit), and Systeme. MailerLite, Brevo, and Systeme are our preferred platforms for EU and UK clients due to their strong GDPR conformance tools and competitive pricing. If you are already on a platform, we take it over. If you need one set up, the one-off setup covers platform configuration, list import, domain authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and template design.
Is a newsletter GDPR-conformant?
A newsletter is GDPR-conformant when subscribers have given explicit, informed consent to receive it; when the signup process makes clear what they are signing up for; when unsubscribing is easy and honored immediately; and when the data collected is limited to what is necessary. We set up all of this as part of the newsletter platform setup. We are not lawyers and cannot provide legal advice, but we ensure the technical implementation reflects current best practices.
How often should I send a newsletter?
For most organizations, once or twice a month is the right frequency: consistent enough to stay present, infrequent enough that each send feels considered. Daily newsletters work for news publications. Quarterly newsletters risk being forgotten. We agree on frequency as part of the strategy session before the retainer begins.
What makes a good newsletter?
One that is useful to the reader, not just promotional to the sender. The newsletters that get opened and read consistently are the ones that teach something, share a perspective, or give the reader something they did not have before. We write newsletters that reflect what your organization genuinely knows and cares about, not content produced to fill a calendar.
Do you handle email marketing campaigns as well as newsletters?
Yes. Beyond regular newsletter sends, we plan, write, and set up standalone email campaigns, welcome sequences, promotional sends, and automated flows triggered by subscriber behavior. These can be part of an ongoing retainer or handled as one-off engagements depending on your needs.
What is the difference between a newsletter and email marketing?
A newsletter is a regular, scheduled send designed to build a relationship with your audience over time. Email marketing covers everything else: welcome sequences for new subscribers, promotional campaigns, re-engagement flows for inactive contacts, and automated sequences triggered by specific actions. Both typically use the same platform and the same principles of good writing and clear strategy.
