Static websites built for speed, security, and low running costs.
Not every business needs a content management system. If your website is a handful of pages that explain who you are, what you do, and how to reach you, and the content changes a few times a year, a CMS adds weight you'll never use: a database, an admin login, plugins, and an update cycle that needs regular attention.
A static website skips all of that. Every page is built in advance as a lightweight HTML file and sent straight to the visitor. There's no database to query and nothing to assemble on the fly, so pages tend to load fast and score well on Core Web Vitals. With no database, no admin panel, and no plugins, there's also much less for attackers to target, and no core or plugin updates to keep up with.
Running costs stay low too. No CMS subscription, no premium plugin licenses, and no maintenance plan needed to keep the site secure. When something needs to change, like new opening hours, a new photo, or an added service, you send us the update and we publish it.
We design every static website from scratch, with the same on-page SEO, structured data, and performance work we put into every platform we build on. Contact forms, booking tools, and maps work through embedded solutions, so a static website doesn't mean a website without functionality.
Best for
Is a static website right for you?
Small businesses, sole traders, professional services firms, and artists and musicians who need a polished brochure site in one language, with a small number of pages and content that rarely changes. Also a strong choice when speed, security, and low running costs matter more than editing the site yourself.
Limitations
When a static website is not the answer.
A static website is not the right choice for everything. If you want to edit the site yourself, publish a blog regularly, or need a multilingual site, an online store, a learning platform, or member areas, WordPress, Webflow, or Duda is a better fit. We'll tell you honestly on our strategy call if a static website is not the right answer for your project.

Common questions
Answers to the questions we hear most often.
What is a static website?
A static website is made of pages that are built in advance and stored as ready-made HTML files. When someone visits, the server sends the finished page straight away, without querying a database or running a CMS. The content stays the same until the site is updated and published again.
What is the difference between a static and a dynamic website?
A dynamic website, such as one built on WordPress, assembles each page when a visitor requests it, pulling content from a database through a CMS. That makes it easy to edit content in an admin panel and to run features such as online stores, member areas, and large blogs. A static website delivers pages that are already built, which tends to make it faster, cheaper to run, and a smaller target for attacks. The trade-off: changes go through us rather than through an editor.
Can I update a static website myself?
Not through an editor or admin panel. That's part of what keeps a static site light and secure. You send us the changes, and we update and publish the site for you. If you want to edit content yourself on a regular basis, a CMS platform such as Webflow or Duda is a better fit.
Is a static website good for SEO?
Yes. Search engines read static pages the same way they read any other HTML page, and fast load times and clean code support strong Core Web Vitals. We build every static website with on-page SEO, structured data, and a sitemap, so it has the best chance of being found on Google and in AI search.
Can a static website have a contact form?
Yes. Contact forms, booking tools, maps, and newsletter signups work through embedded solutions. We recommend the right option for your site during the project and set it up as part of the build.
