Website redesign that delivers results, not just a refresh.
Most redesigns start with a visual brief: new colors, modern layout, something less dated. That's the wrong starting point. Our website redesign service starts with outcomes: what the new site needs to do, who it needs to reach, and what's stopping the current one from doing that. Design follows from the answers.
The result is a website that looks better, yes, but more importantly, one that works better. More inquiries. Stronger search rankings. Clearer messaging. A platform that grows with your organization instead of holding it back.
Who this is for
You have a website. It is not working hard enough.
We typically work with organizations that have an established business and a website that no longer reflects where they are or where they're going. Maybe it looks dated. Maybe it doesn't rank. Prospects visit and leave without making contact. It's slow, hard to update, or difficult for your team to manage. Usually some combination of all of those.
A redesign in that situation isn't an expense. It's the fix to a problem that's costing you inquiries every week.
What we include
What a redesign with Lavender Giraffe includes.
Every redesign project covers the same core scope: a full site audit, SEO strategy, custom design, platform recommendation, performance optimization, and a structured handover. No shortcuts, no afterthoughts.
Full site audit before we start
We review your current site before we design anything: which pages perform well, where visitors drop off, what your competitors are doing better, and what your existing search rankings look like. You do not rebuild a house without checking the foundations first. We apply the same logic to websites.
SEO built in from day one
SEO is not something we add at the end. Site structure, URL strategy, keyword mapping, heading hierarchy, internal linking architecture, structured data, and content strategy are all planned before a single page is designed. This means the redesigned site does not lose its existing search rankings and is built to gain new ones.
Custom design
We design every page from scratch, built around your brand identity, your sector's visual conventions, and the expectations of your specific visitors. Templates and pre-made blocks are a starting point we rarely need. A law firm's website should not look like a SaaS startup's website, and we make sure it does not.
Platform recommendation
We recommend the right CMS for your needs based on your content volume, your team's technical comfort, your budget for ongoing maintenance, and your future plans. We work across WordPress, Webflow, Framer, and Duda. We will tell you which fits your situation honestly, even if it is not the one we have built most recently.
Performance and Core Web Vitals
Fast load times and strong Core Web Vitals directly affect your search rankings and the experience every visitor has on your site. We optimize for performance from the ground up on every project, not as a patch after the fact.
Structured handover
You receive full documentation covering how the site is built, how it's hosted, and what the maintenance setup looks like. WordPress sites come with the WordPress Owner's Manual, and we provide ongoing maintenance to keep them secure and up to date. On subscription-based platforms, we're on hand for blog uploads, edits, and any other updates you may need.
On accessibility
WCAG conformance is available as a separate service starting at a project price detailed on our Pricing page. If your organization needs or wants a fully conformant site, we scope that as its own engagement with the appropriate depth of testing and documentation.
Investment
Every project is delivered at a fixed price. Ongoing conformance monitoring and support is available as a monthly retainer. Full details are included in the Proposal of Service after the initial strategy call.
Common questions
Answers to the questions we hear most often.
How do I know if my website needs a full redesign or just improvements?
If your site is structurally sound but has specific problems (slow load times, poor mobile experience, weak SEO), targeted improvements are usually more cost-effective. If the platform is outdated, the design no longer reflects your organization, the site is hard to manage, or you have outgrown what it can do, a redesign is the right call. Our Website Strategy Review is specifically designed to answer this question before you commit to anything.
Will a redesign affect my current search rankings?
Only if it is done carelessly. A redesign that changes URLs without proper redirects, loses existing content, or rebuilds site structure without an SEO plan will cause ranking drops. We handle URL mapping, 301 redirects, and SEO continuity as part of every redesign project. The goal is for your rankings to hold or improve after launch, not to drop.
How much does a website redesign cost?
Pricing depends on the platform, the number of pages, content requirements, and any custom functionality involved. Simpler projects on Webflow, Framer, or Duda sit at the lower end of the range. WordPress redesigns and larger or more complex projects sit higher. We provide a fixed-price proposal after our initial conversation.
How long does a website redesign take?
Most redesign projects take six to ten weeks from discovery to launch. Larger sites with significant content migration, e-commerce, or complex integrations take longer. We give you a realistic timeline in the proposal. The single biggest factor in timeline is how quickly you can provide feedback at design and review stages.
Can you redesign a site on a different platform than it is currently on?
Yes, and we do this regularly. Moving from WordPress to Webflow, from Wix to WordPress, from Squarespace to Framer: we handle the migration, content transfer, SEO redirect mapping, and the new design. We recommend the platform based on your needs, not on what is easiest for us to build.
